The Cisco card just needs to have it’s Config file in the /proc filesystem set with the proper WEP option.  Make sure that you specify the router to use Open System or Shared Key for WEP, and then make sure you’ve got the corresponding WEP: open or WEP: shared set in the Config file to match.  Then, make sure you’re typing in the 128 bit key correctly; that seems to fix many problems.  ;)
