Weekend Idle

Synonyms for mundane: ordinary, banal, commonplace, day-to-day, earthly, everyday, humdrum*, lowly, normal, prosaic, routine, workday.

Amazing… I’m starting a blog post with a vocab. word and synonyms… Shit, this is bad.

Well, what to say… I’m not dead yet, that’s a good start. Visited family recently. Oh! I got this awesome kit for my Mini-Maglight! It’s made by a company called Nite-Ize, and it’s got an LED lightbulb for the Mag-Lite, PLUS the modded tailcap I’ve always been looking for with a PUSH BUTTON SWITCH! Whoo! Now I can mod my Mini Mag-Lite into a super bright LED tactical light run on AA batteries! Yes!

What else… Investing is still a fun game… I sorta made a crap load of money at it this week, almost exceeding my salary for two weeks in just one… It’s actually a bit embarrassing how easy it seems to be. I’ve had a couple of exciting points in the week where I was wondering a bit, but it was just actually user ignorance on my part that caused the excitement. Kinda anti-climatic, eh? Like I said, embarrassing. Maybe when I hit a certain number I’ll play John Williams’ Imperial March. I’ve heard talk that it’s all very stressful, but honestly, my cell phone going off gives me much more stress than anything else. If I had to rate it from most to least stressful, I’d say #1 family calling me, #2 my job, #3 high risk investing in commodities with hundreds of $ at stake.

I’ve got to get my system, Trouble, looked at. The power supply is on the fritz in Windoze… Maybe I’ll buy a new game when I get it fixed…
